Are you a dynamic, action-oriented professional passionate about mental health and rehabilitation services? Join us as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist III (MHRS III) and take a leadership role in supporting individuals served while guiding and mentoring employees on your shift. In this role, youll ensure programs are implemented effectively, policies are followed, and quality care is consistently delivered. Your leadership and expertise will directly influence outcomes and create a safe, therapeutic environment for all.

What Youll Do

  • Provide program leadership and supervision for employees during your assigned shift.
  • Deliver direct care services to assigned individuals served.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide technical assistance and training to unit employees to ensure duties are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor the implementation of treatment plans and ensure adherence to departmental protocols, policies, and facility standards.
  • Participate in treatment planning, crisis intervention, and group interventions as assigned.
  • Document all services and interventions in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and facility requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development on the unit.

What Were Looking For

Education

  • Bachelors degree (Required)
  • Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field (Preferred)

Experience

  • Four (4) years of relevant experience; up to two years of graduate-level professional education may substitute on a year-for-year basis (Required)
  • Minimum of one (1) year as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist or equivalent role (Required)
  • Two (2) years of increasingly responsible mental health experience, including lead supervisory experience (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

  • Any client-mandated certifications and/or training (Required)
