Senior Growth Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager based in United States.

This leadership role is focused on accelerating subscription revenue through a full-funnel, data-driven growth strategy.
You will own initiatives spanning acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.
The role combines strategic direction with hands-on execution across digital channels, lifecycle marketing, partnerships, referrals, and experimentation.
You will work closely with Sales, Product, Analytics, Finance, Operations, and Client Success teams to turn insights into measurable growth.
Your decisions will directly influence acquisition efficiency, subscription performance, member engagement, and marketing ROI.
You will also lead a culture of testing, optimization, creativity, and accountability across growth marketing programs.
This opportunity is well suited to an experienced growth leader with a strong background in subscription, membership, wellness, healthcare, or consumer businesses.

Accountabilities
  • Own membership acquisition, subscription revenue, and engagement growth targets, developing annual and quarterly strategies aligned with broader revenue objectives.
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities that balance member needs, client priorities, and business objectives.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Client Success, Growth Operations, and business teams to establish revenue targets, monitor performance against budgets, and adjust strategies based on results.
  • Lead omnichannel acquisition and demand-generation programs, developing audience segmentation strategies that improve targeting, engagement, and conversion.
  • Manage acquisition budgets and optimize channel investment to maximize return on ad spend, customer acquisition efficiency, and LTV performance.
  • Establish testing roadmaps covering acquisition, enrollment, engagement, and subscription conversion, using experimentation to continuously improve results.
  • Collaborate with Client Relations to develop client-ready campaigns that secure stakeholder support and drive member engagement.
  • Partner with Product and UX teams to optimize websites, landing pages, enrollment journeys, wellness experiences, and subscription paths through A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies across email, SMS, mobile, and in-app channels, including onboarding, activation, upsell, renewal, and win-back programs.
  • Use behavioral and member analytics to increase retention and lifetime value while reducing churn through personalized communications and targeted interventions.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance dashboards covering engagement, conversion, retention, revenue, and profitability.
  • Analyze marketing funnel performance and customer behavior trends to guide investment decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations that clearly communicate growth strategy, performance, insights, and next steps.
  • Foster a high-performing culture centered on creativity, accountability, experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen cross-functional relationships and contribute growth marketing expertise across the broader member engagement organization.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, demand generation, subscription marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven track record of scaling subscription, membership, fitness, wellness, SaaS, healthcare, or other consumer engagement businesses.
  • Strong expertise across paid media, lifecycle marketing, CRM, conversion rate optimization, marketing analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated success achieving ambitious customer acquisition, subscription, revenue, and engagement targets.
  • Deep understanding of attribution models, customer journeys, marketing automation, segmentation, experimentation, and optimization methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate customer and performance data into actionable growth strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in fitness, health clubs, wellness, Medicare, employer health, or consumer subscription businesses is preferred.
  • Experience marketing gym memberships, digital fitness products, wellness benefits, healthcare services, or comparable offerings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with platforms and tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and CRM systems.
  • Experience managing partnerships, referral programs, and membership-focused marketing initiatives is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex performance insights clearly to executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Highly collaborative, results-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Salary: $88,700 – $124,200, with compensation determined by qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
  • Competitive salary with potential eligibility for company bonus incentives.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • Free gym membership with access to more than 13,000 fitness locations across the United States.
  • Additional employee benefits and wellness-focused programs.
  • Opportunity to lead high-impact subscription and member growth initiatives at scale.
  • Cross-functional exposure across marketing, product, analytics, finance, sales, operations, and client success.
