Job Description

Technical Program Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Program Manager based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of advanced AI systems, industrial operations, and enterprise customer delivery. You will lead complex, large-scale customer programs that deploy AI-powered control systems into real-world industrial environments such as plants, energy systems, and critical infrastructure. Acting as both a strategic advisor and execution owner, you will coordinate cross-functional engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure successful implementation and long-term value realization. The work requires strong technical depth, structured program management skills, and the ability to operate in ambiguous, high-impact environments. You will translate customer needs into executable plans while ensuring alignment with product direction and operational excellence. This is a highly visible role where your work directly influences customer success and platform scalability.

Accountabilities:

You will own end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs while ensuring alignment between customer goals, engineering execution, and internal product strategy. You will drive structure, clarity, and predictability across highly dynamic deployments.

  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale, multi-site customer programs from planning through execution and long-term support, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, timeline, and quality.
  • Define program strategy, including milestones, resource planning, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation across concurrent technical initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing technical leader, guiding stakeholders through complex deployment decisions and translating technical progress into clear business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to configure, deploy, and optimize AI-based industrial solutions tailored to customer environments.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and process gaps, and drive improvements to delivery frameworks, tooling, and operational playbooks.
  • Lead executive-level communications, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and recommendations for technical and strategic decisions.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to scaling best practices in program management, documentation, and customer delivery excellence.
Requirements:

You bring strong technical program management experience combined with the ability to operate confidently in complex, distributed, and customer-facing environments.

  • 5+ years of technical program or project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in enterprise or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of industrial systems, including areas such as controls, automation, HVAC systems, or data center infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguous, large-scale programs and drive structured execution across engineering and customer teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into executive-level insights and decisions.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and enterprise customers across multiple time zones.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with a focus on scalable execution.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid program management methodologies and risk management practices.
  • Experience leveraging modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve delivery efficiency is highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with salary and equity options.
  • Fully remote-first work environment with global collaboration.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (varies by region).
  • Unlimited PTO with minimum annual time off expectations.
  • Paid parental leave and family support benefits (region-dependent).
  • Professional development, training, and learning support stipends.
  • Home office and wellness allowances to support remote productivity.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI systems with real-world industrial impact.
