POSITION SUMMARY: This position will provide an excellent opportunity to gain valuable, real world skills relevant to the operation of a contracted food service company, with exposure to general office administration.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions
• Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned
• Assist with processing mail, bookkeeping, data entry and office supplies requests
• Help improve administration procedures
• Flexibility to rotate as needed to support operational needs
• Gain familiarity with multiple departments regarding administrative support requirements.
• Gain cross-functional training to provide required support as assigned.
• Accept various projects from management to support key initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

Physical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, and sit. Occasionally required to stoop, push, pull, feel, grasp, and reach with hands and arms.
2. The employee must exert over 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or be able to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 35 pounds.
3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, and ability to bring objects into sharp focus.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience/Skills:
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS office Suite
• Must be able to appropriately handle confidential information.
• Detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Highly organized and flexible.
• Strong ability to integrate and communicate effectively, orally or in writing, with all levels of the organization.
• Strong follow-up skills.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Able to multi-task and deal with various personalities.
• Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills.
