Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Fort Meade, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who is passionate about software development and eager to work alongside experienced engineers building innovative solutions that support critical national security missions.
Working alongside a collaborative engineering team, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications while participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. You'll gain hands-on experience with modern development tools, programming languages, cloud technologies, and Agile methodologies while contributing to meaningful, mission-focused projects.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting mission requirements.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain software using Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Troubleshoot software defects and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop automated tests and support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) activities.
- Document software designs, technical solutions, and development processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Zero (0) years of professional experience required.
- Experience or a strong desire to develop software using one or more programming languages, including Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
