JOB SUMMARY
Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support OUSD(R&E) FutureG initiatives focused on integrating advanced commercial 5G and 6G wireless technologies into secure military operational environments. This hybrid remote position will support technical planning, integration analysis, operational coordination, cybersecurity assessments, and transition activities related to 5G/6G military network integration, tactical communications modernization, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), secure wireless architectures, electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), and future tactical edge networking capabilities.
The ideal candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, research organizations, and multidisciplinary technical teams to help advance FutureG capabilities from research and development into operational transition. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge defense modernization efforts focused on next-generation communications technologies that directly support national security and mission readiness objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Program Management
- Support execution of FutureG integration initiatives involving 5G and emerging 6G technologiesCoordinate technical assessments and integration planning activitiesAnalyze military applicability of commercial wireless technologiesSupport development of technology roadmaps and operational integration strategiesAssist in identifying transition candidates and operational use cases
Network Integration and Security
- Support analysis of military network integration architectures and interoperability requirementsAssess cybersecurity implications of 5G/6G deployment in defense environmentsCoordinate technical evaluations involving tactical networks, spectrum operations, and secure communicationsSupport development of secure and resilient network implementation strategies
Acquisition and Industry Coordination
- Support preparation of acquisition planning documentation and technical requirementsAssist with industry engagement activities including RFIs, workshops, and technical exchangesCoordinate with acquisition support organizations and government laboratoriesSupport development of solicitation documentation and technical evaluation criteria
Reporting and Stakeholder Support
- Prepare technical reports, briefings, recommendations, and status updatesSupport meetings and coordination with OSD, Joint Staff, Services, and external stakeholdersMaintain program schedules, action tracking, and milestone reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related technical fieldMinimum 5–10 years supporting DoD communications, networking, cybersecurity, or technology integration programsExperience with 5G, wireless communications, military networking, or cyber operationsFamiliarity with DoD modernization initiatives and operational requirementsExperience supporting technical program management activitiesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsActive Secret clearance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 5G/6G integration, Open RAN, or tactical wireless communicationsKnowledge of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and advanced spectrum technologiesFamiliarity with DoD acquisition or RDT&E environmentsExperience supporting FutureG, Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint modernization programsSecurity+, CISSP, PMP, or related certifications preferredExperience supporting cybersecurity assessments for operational networks
