Digital Marketing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist based in Canada.

In this role, you will help plan, execute, and optimize paid media strategies across multiple digital channels while working with a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business objectives into measurable marketing results through performance analysis and continuous optimization. Accountabilities:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the development and execution of high-performing paid media campaigns while delivering actionable insights and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Assist in developing paid media strategies and channel investment plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Build, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and emerging social channels.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance, analyze key performance indicators, and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize campaigns through audience segmentation, creative improvements, bidding strategies, and ad copy adjustments.
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling paid search and social advertising copy.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with account management teams to communicate campaign performance and paid media strategies to clients.
  • Identify meaningful business metrics to measure campaign success and continuously improve results.
  • Foster a test-and-learn approach by proposing innovative ideas, experiments, and process improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and new advertising opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with paid media expertise and a passion for delivering measurable business outcomes through digital marketing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing paid media campaigns, including relevant internship experience.
  • Hands-on experience with paid social advertising platforms and digital campaign management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and optimize results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience creating digital marketing strategies and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience developing effective advertising copy.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification (Media Buying) or equivalent professional certifications are considered an asset.
  • Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications are preferred.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
