This role offers the opportunity to build and lead a strategic improvement function dedicated to transforming HR and Talent Acquisition operations.
You will partner with business leaders to identify inefficiencies, redesign workflows, and deliver scalable solutions that improve employee and candidate experiences.
The position combines program management, process optimization, Lean transformation, and cross-functional leadership.
You will bring structure to complex challenges by establishing governance, prioritization frameworks, and measurable success metrics.
Working across HR, Talent Acquisition, Technology, Finance, and Operations, you will drive initiatives from discovery through implementation.

You will help shape a more efficient, data-driven, and scalable operating model for HR and recruiting teams.
The PMO Lead - HR & Recruiting will serve as a strategic improvement partner for HR and Talent Acquisition teams, leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, simplify processes, and create measurable business impact.
- Build strong partnerships with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to understand priorities, workforce goals, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize improvement initiatives based on business impact, scalability, operational needs, and measurable value.
- Maintain an improvement portfolio with clear ownership, timelines, success metrics, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional execution by partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, Technology, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Establish alignment on initiative scope, milestones, responsibilities, risks, and decision-making processes.
- Lead HR and Talent Acquisition transformation projects from discovery through implementation using Lean methodologies and business process improvement practices.
- Analyze and redesign workflows related to recruiting operations, candidate experience, hiring efficiency, onboarding, compliance processes, HR support operations, and HR technology optimization.
- Conduct process mapping, identify bottlenecks and root causes, design future-state workflows, and implement scalable solutions.
- Manage pilots and improvement initiatives, measuring results and recommending whether solutions should scale, adapt, or stop.
- Define operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure impact and support data-driven decisions.
- Identify automation and AI-enabled opportunities that reduce manual work and improve HR operational scalability.
- Establish repeatable processes, documentation, and continuous improvement practices across HR operations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader and process improvement professional who can navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable operational improvements across complex organizations.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs in HR Operations, Business Operations, Program Management, Consulting, or related environments.
- Strong experience applying Lean transformation, process improvement, and business process re-engineering methodologies.
- Ability to analyze current-state processes, identify root causes, redesign workflows, and implement scalable improvements.
- Experience using continuous improvement frameworks such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), A3 problem solving, 5S, Gemba walks, root cause analysis, and process gap assessments.
- Proven ability to diagnose operational challenges and translate insights into measurable business outcomes.
- Experience driving adoption through stakeholder alignment, change management, and sustainable operating practices.
- Strong program management skills, including planning, risk management, governance, communication, and execution tracking.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience with HR technology, Talent Operations, People Operations, or recruiting workflows is preferred.
- Experience implementing automation, AI solutions, or workflow improvements that enhance efficiency is a plus.
- Background in staffing, consulting, professional services, or high-growth organizations is beneficial.
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile/ACP, PgMP, PMP, or Prosci/ADKAR are a plus.
- Competitive annual salary range of $160,000 - $200,000 USD.
