Profissional Tech Lead Java - Snior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Profissional Tech Lead Java - Sênior based in Brazil.

As a Senior Java Tech Lead, you will play a key role in evolving digital products by connecting business objectives, technology, and user experience.
You will provide technical leadership while helping teams design and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
The role combines hands-on Java development with architectural decision-making, collaboration, and technical guidance.
You will work across the full service lifecycle, from solution conception and development through testing, deployment, and support.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and both technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn complex requirements into effective products.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the technical evolution of digital products, balancing business needs, technical quality, scalability, and user experience.
  • Design, develop, and evolve backend services and applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, particularly within microservices-based environments, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and resilient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, design, prioritize, and deliver new features and product capabilities.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements and technical considerations into clear solutions.
  • Follow services throughout their complete lifecycle, including conception, development, testing, release, monitoring, and support.
  • Ensure new and legacy applications comply with established engineering, architecture, security, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure robustness, reliability, and coverage of critical scenarios.
  • Apply agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban to support predictable, iterative, and value-driven delivery.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies and engineering practices that can improve development efficiency and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify sustainable solutions.
  • Promote engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, version control, CI/CD, containerization, and effective interoperability between technology platforms.
Requirements:
  • Strong professional experience as a Senior Java Developer, Tech Lead, Software Engineer, or similar technical leadership role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Java and the Spring ecosystem.
  • Solid experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
  • Practical experience with unit and integration testing and a strong understanding of software quality practices.
  • Experience with Git and Gitflow, Docker, and Jenkins or comparable CI/CD technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, particularly services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate, ECS, RDS, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, and ElastiCache/Redis.
  • Good understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and software architecture best practices.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and enable interoperability between different technology platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership, make sound technical decisions, and contribute actively to solution design and delivery.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of Event Sourcing architectures and patterns.
  • Experience with Play Framework.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Python, Golang, or Groovy.
  • Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Experience developing web applications.
  • Familiarity with React.
