As a Loss Control Specialist at Friedline & Carter Adjustment, you'll visit residential properties, assess potential risks, gather key property information, and document your findings through photos and reports that help support informed underwriting decisions.

This position serves as an entry point into the claims profession and is ideal for someone interested in building a long-term career in insurance. Through hands-on field experience, training, and mentorship, you'll gain valuable industry knowledge and have the opportunity to progress into a Claims Adjuster Trainee role.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Conduct on-site residential property inspections to identify hazards and gather underwriting-related information.
  • Document inspection findings through detailed notes, photographs, and concise written reports.
  • Review policy and background information before inspections to ensure efficient, informed field visits.
  • Assess property characteristics such as square footage, construction type, and safety features.
  • Calculate replacement cost values using established company guidelines.
  • Communicate findings clearly and accurately using internal reporting tools and templates.
  • Track inspection activity and maintain accurate records in company systems.

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn additional performance-based incentive bonuses. We consider a variety of factors when making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
