Enterprise Account Executive, Healthcare & Life Sciences

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive, Healthcare & Life Sciences based in United States.

This role is responsible for driving enterprise growth across the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector, with a strong focus on new business development and strategic account expansion.
You will manage complex, high-value sales cycles and build trusted relationships with senior executives, business leaders, and key stakeholders.
The position combines strategic selling, business development, account planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
You will work closely with sales engineers, professional services, executives, partners, and other internal teams to develop compelling customer solutions.
Success requires a deep understanding of customer strategies, the ability to uncover business opportunities, and confidence navigating complex negotiations.
Operating in a fast-paced technology environment, you will have significant ownership of your territory, pipeline, forecasts, and revenue performance.

Accountabilities
  • Drive new business development and close enterprise opportunities within Healthcare & Life Sciences accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build, expand, and maintain strategic relationships across business units, divisions, and enterprise-level customer organizations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory, account, and sales strategies aligned with market segmentation and targeted account priorities.
  • Understand customers’ business strategies, priorities, and long-term objectives to develop sustainable account portfolios and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle, coordinating internal and external resources including Sales Engineering, Professional Services, executives, partners, and strategic alliances.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with strategic partners and alliances to strengthen customer engagement and accelerate opportunities.
  • Position innovative technology solutions through strategic, value-based selling and clearly communicate differentiated business value.
  • Build strong internal relationships to secure the resources and expertise required to advance opportunities and successfully close complex deals.
  • Maintain accurate and realistic sales forecasts and communicate pipeline, market conditions, customer needs, and competitive insights to leadership.
  • Take ownership of complex customer challenges, coordinating cross-functional teams to prioritize issues and ensure effective resolution.
  • Represent customer priorities internally, helping engineering and other functional teams focus on the highest-value needs and opportunities.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with management, colleagues, prospects, customers, and the broader industry community.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of direct or outside enterprise sales experience with a consistent record of carrying and exceeding quota, preferably within a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment.
  • Proven experience selling enterprise software or technology solutions to large organizations, ideally within Healthcare & Life Sciences or similarly complex industries.
  • Strong experience with strategic, value-based, solution-oriented selling and managing complex sales processes involving senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), C-suite leaders, senior management, and director-level stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of generating substantial revenue growth, scaling bookings, and acquiring new enterprise customers.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities, uncover underlying customer challenges, and develop commercially sound solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, developing, and executing new business initiatives involving innovative or emerging technology.
  • Extensive experience with negotiation, contract development, and successfully bringing complex transactions to closure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic technology environment while adapting to changing customer and market conditions.
  • Strong commercial judgment, deal-making ability, and persistence throughout lengthy enterprise sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
