The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Account Executive to join our Integrated Communications team in New York City. As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in carrying out strategies in our award-winning total market and multicultural campaigns for our clients (including but not limited to food, entertainment, and lifestyle industries), maximizing reach through traditional and digital media, social media, and events/activations conducive to demonstrable ROI. Your responsibilities will include developing campaign strategies, drafting press materials, guiding creative, conducting media/community outreach, executing media events, and overseeing day-to-day client needs/requests.

Key Responsibilities

Lead integrated communications (i.e. PR, media, communications, etc.) efforts across a diverse portfolio of clients, including but not limited to food & beverage, lifestyle, entertainment, and consumer brands.Serve as the day-to-day contact on client accounts, managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple time zones with minimal oversight.Execute integrated communications initiatives, including media relations, influencer engagement, partnerships, and experiential activations to drive impactful earned coverage and audience engagement.Craft compelling communications materials, including but not limited to press releases, pitches, presentations, coverage reports, and other client-facing deliverables.Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to clients, journalists, creators, organizations, and vendors, to support campaign success and long-term collaboration.Monitor and analyze media, creator, consumer, and cultural trends while maintaining media and influencer databases to identify timely opportunities and inform campaign strategies.Contribute strategic and creative ideas during campaign development, internal brainstorms, and new business initiatives while demonstrating a strong understanding of the evolving media and creator landscape.Maintain expertise in multicultural consumer segments while staying informed on industry trends, communications best practices, and emerging cultural moments.Provide guidance and support to junior team members by collaborating on shared workloads.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s or vocational degree from a fully accredited college or university.

Commitment to producing the best work possible (including availability to work occasional early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays).Flexibility to support client needs outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-based activations when required.Must be willing and able to travel.A sense of humor; flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multicultural and Asian consumers.Proficiency and/or fluency in additional languages is a plus.Experience leading integrated communications campaigns.Proven experience growing business, finding new ways in, and charting new pathways.Ability to role model the agency’s vision and connect it to client’s goals.Strong pulse on culture, diversity, community, traditional/digital/social media, and new communications innovations.Minimum of 5+ years professional work experience.

The Hybrid Work Model

Work Model: IW Group supports a hybrid work schedule. Teams are required to work in-office at least three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.Work Environment: This role is based primarily in the IW Group office and may also involve working at client sites or other designated locations.Work Hours: Project timelines may occasionally require extended hours, including evenings or weekends. Travel and Events: This role will involve working outside the office for client events and may include occasional travel beyond the local area, including national or international locations.
