Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Shift Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day activities of Slot Operations while fostering a safe, welcoming, and high‑performance work environment for all employees.
The Slot Operations Supervisor ensures consistent adherence to company policies and procedures, leads by example, supports a culture of learning, and assists in the implementation of new operational initiatives that enhance the guest and employee experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitors all slot activities, assigns shift responsibilities, and provides input for employee performance
- Participates in the rollout and execution of slot operational and strategic initiatives objectives and evaluations
- Verifies, documents, and reconciles all counts with accuracy and attention to detail
- Responds to concerns, resolves issues promptly, or escalates matters when appropriate
- Confirms notable jackpots and ensures compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements
- Participates in the implementation of slot operation strategic plans
- Verifies, documents and reconciles all counts
- Responds to, resolves or escalates issues as required
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with guests, ownership, and employees
- Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, graveyards and holidays
- Must hold active Slot Attendant job code at River Rock Casino Resort
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
- Serving it Right certification
- Customer service skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Second language an asset
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming worker license
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
