Be the welcoming heart of our parish.
St. Agnes Catholic Parish is seeking a warm, organized, bilingual professional to become the welcoming face of our parish office. So often the first person that greets someone approaching the Church with a need makes the difference. As the first point of contact for parishioners and visitors, you will play an important role in creating a spirit of Christian hospitality while supporting the daily operations of the parish.

Key responsibilities.
• Welcome visitors with warmth and Christian hospitality.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Support the pastor and parish office with administrative and clerical duties.
• Maintain sacramental and parish records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate information for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and new parishioner registration.
• Prepare correspondence, maintain calendars, and process mail.
• Assist with the preparation and translation of the weekly bulletin.
• Maintain parish mailing data base; perform accurate data entry.
• Coordinate weekly contribution recording and prepare bank bags for collections.
• Recruit and train office volunteers. Develop task guides for office volunteers.
• Connect individuals in need with appropriate community resources.
• Perform other duties that support the mission of St. Agnes Parish.
Requirements:What you bring.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A servant's heart, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
We are looking for someone whose daily life is rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and lived out
through active, faithful participation in the sacramental life of His Church. A familiarity with Catholic faith and a
heart for people in need of God’s love and tradition is preferred.
