Community Health Workers are not just an extension of core clinical services; they are key to providing effective primary care and supporting our goals.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?You will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and partners, helping create a welcoming, organized, and responsive environment. Under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, you will support daily operations by managing communications, scheduling appointments across multiple sites, and connecting clients to appropriate services and resources.
You will:

Greet and welcome clients and visitors with professionalism and care

Answer and route incoming, outgoing, and inter-office phone calls

Schedule appointments and manage calendars across various locations

Respond to inquiries related to services provided by the organization
You are friendly, organized, and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. You enjoy helping others, can juggle multiple tasks, and thrive in a community-focused, service-driven environment. You’re comfortable working independently, problem-solving when needed, and contributing to a team that values compassion and impact.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot basic operational or administrative issues.
- Spanish speaking required
- Must be able to lift to 40 pounds
- Experience and commitment to working with multiethnic, multicultural, low-income populations.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams).
- Proven ability to follow up and meet deadlines.
- Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling the demands of leadership.
