This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Compliance Monitoring & Data Analytics based in United States.
This role will lead the development and continuous improvement of a risk-based compliance monitoring and data analytics program within a complex healthcare environment.
You will combine compliance expertise, advanced analytics, and automation to identify risks proactively and strengthen internal controls.
The position provides broad exposure across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access, Finance, Legal, and other functions.
You will translate complex datasets into actionable insights, executive reporting, and practical recommendations that support ethical and compliant business growth.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will investigate emerging risks, oversee remediation, and improve monitoring methodologies.
The role is well suited to a strategic compliance professional who enjoys using technology and data to modernize traditional monitoring approaches.

- Design, execute, and continuously enhance a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Program aligned with the annual monitoring plan and enterprise compliance priorities.
- Conduct targeted monitoring reviews across areas including healthcare professional engagements, speaker programs, advisory boards, sponsorships and grants, Medical Affairs, promotional activities, field operations, market access, patient support programs, transparency reporting, and third-party risk.
- Assess adherence to applicable healthcare compliance requirements, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, FDA promotional regulations, PhRMA Code, OIG Guidance, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, recurring trends, and emerging compliance risks, and develop clear assessments of their potential impact.
- Prepare monitoring reports that communicate observations, root causes, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
- Partner with business teams to develop corrective and preventive action plans and monitor remediation through completion.
- Support annual Compliance Risk Assessments and translate identified risks into effective monitoring priorities and plans.
- Lead the development of advanced analytics and automated monitoring procedures to improve risk detection and make compliance monitoring more efficient and scalable.
- Develop executive dashboards, key risk indicators, metrics, standardized monitoring methodologies, reporting templates, and trend analyses.
- Define data requirements across multiple enterprise systems and interpret complex datasets to identify compliance issues and emerging risks.
- Identify opportunities to automate and continuously improve monitoring processes through analytics, technology, and AI-enabled approaches.
- Manage multiple complex monitoring engagements independently while maintaining strong project governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree such as a JD, MBA, MPH, PharmD, or Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare compliance, compliance monitoring, internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare compliance laws, regulations, industry codes, and relevant privacy requirements.
- Experience developing and executing compliance analytics strategies or roadmaps within a complex organization.
- Hands-on familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, ACL, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to define data requirements across multiple enterprise systems and use data to identify risks and compliance trends.
- Strong investigative, interviewing, analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple complex monitoring engagements and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analytical findings into concise executive-level reports and recommendations.
- Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities to automate compliance monitoring and apply advanced analytics to strengthen controls.
- CCEP, CHC, CIA, or CFE certification is preferred.
- Experience within a fast-paced biotech or pharmaceutical environment, commercial launch readiness, AI-enabled analytics, continuous monitoring, or executive-level business partnering is a strong advantage.
- Base salary range of $150,000–$189,000 USD, with compensation adjusted according to location and determined based on skills, experience, education, training, and market factors.
