We’re looking for an HR Operations Specialist who is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping people. This role is at the center of our day-to-day HR operations—from welcoming new team members and answering employee questions to keeping our HR systems accurate, supporting benefits and leaves, and helping create the events and experiences that make DeWys a great place to work.

What You'll Do

You’ll help keep the HR engine running while creating a positive, organized experience for our team members. Your responsibilities will include:

• Own the HR details. Maintain accurate employee information, records, documentation, and HRIS transactions throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Create a great first impression. Coordinate new hire paperwork, HRIS setup, orientation schedules, and onboarding activities so new team members feel welcomed and prepared from Day 1.
• Be a go-to HR resource. Help employees with everyday questions about HR processes, PTO, benefits, handbook provisions, and where to go for additional support.
• Support benefits and payroll. Assist with benefit enrollments, life-event changes, open enrollment, time and attendance, deductions, and employee changes.
• Coordinate employee leaves. Help administer FMLA, disability, personal leaves, and other leave programs while keeping documentation, systems, employees, vendors, and payroll aligned.
• Keep employees connected. Help coordinate company events, celebrations, recognition activities, HR communications, meetings, and calendars.
• Support the full HR team. Cross-train across HR functions, share knowledge, and jump in where needed to ensure employees and leaders receive timely, consistent support.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, benefits, payroll support, onboarding, or a related area.
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with HRIS, benefits, payroll, onboarding, manufacturing, or a multi-shift workforce is a plus.
