Job Title: Inside Sales Associate

Department: Thermoflo Equipment

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

Job Overview:

Inside Sales Associates are responsible for fielding customer requests (internal & external); assessing the customers’ needs and providing solutions in a timely manner; preparing customer proposals; supporting pre-order and post-order processes; and building relationships with customers and principals. A successful associate will be a motivated individual with a high level of organization and technical expertise to support both internal and external customers. Essential characteristics for this position include excellent oral and written communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and understanding of the customer experience

Scope of Responsibility:

Effectively communicate with a broad array of customers, including engineering, maintenance, and purchasing staff.

Review and evaluate various RFQs & specifications.

Provide professional and prompt responses via phone, fax, email, in‐person, etc.

Prepare quotations and proposals, and execute a follow‐up process utilizing company tools and guidelines.

Always provide a positive customer experience

Maintain customer contact information, per current procedures.

Provide prompt technical & administrative assistance to all internal customers.

Develop and maintain product expertise and market understanding.

Maintain positive relationships with principals and establish effective marketing practices for their products.

Keep an organized & resourceful work environment.

Be a role model for constant learning and improvement.

Occasional travel for training or other business purposes.

Perform all other duties as assigned
