What You'll Do
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment while ensuring customers receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
Troubleshoot system failures and identify root causes.
Repair or replace compressors, pumps, valves, motors, thermostats, and other HVAC components.
Test electrical circuits, refrigerant pressures, and system performance.
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
Complete electronic work orders and accurately document repairs.
Communicate findings and repair recommendations professionally with customers.
Follow all company safety standards and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
4+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (required).
Universal EPA Certification.
Active Texas TDLR Registration.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience servicing commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
Preferred Skills
Experience with large commercial HVAC equipment.
Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls.
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Climb ladders and access rooftops safely.
Work in indoor and outdoor environments throughout the year.
Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
