  • Build trusted, long-term customer relationships by understanding business challenges and providing relevant technical advice and support.
  • Develop and execute an annual regional sales strategy aligned with established revenue and growth objectives.
  • Manage sales opportunities throughout the full cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Conduct customer visits and job walks to understand project requirements and provide clear, measurable scopes of work to estimation and operations teams.
  • Support the preparation of bids and proposals, ensuring recommended services are aligned with customer needs and project requirements.
  • Address technical and commercial objections by clearly communicating the value and suitability of proposed solutions.
  • Deliver customer presentations and educational seminars while representing the organization at trade shows and industry events.
  • Evaluate project opportunities and support compliance with applicable U.S. export control requirements.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree, preferably in business, engineering, or another technical field.
  • 6–10 years of successful sales and business development experience in a quota-driven environment, with demonstrated and measurable results.
  • Proven ability to prospect, sell technical services, negotiate effectively, and consistently close business.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, explain, and communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage a territory independently and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, customer focus, and follow-through, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Valid Class C driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%, including overnight stays, for customer visits, job walks, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Ability to comply with applicable federally mandated U.S. export control requirements.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or water systems industries is preferred.
  • Experience using a CRM system to manage customer relationships, sales activities, and opportunities is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to take ownership of territory growth and make a measurable impact on customer outcomes.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in specialized technical cleaning and passivation services.
  • Collaborative environment with technical and operations professionals to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Highly subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans.
