Hello Nanny!®, a nationwide boutique nanny placement agency, is recruiting a warm, dependable full-time nanny for a wonderful single dad and his two daughters in Dallas, TX. This is a true partnership role: Dad works a demanding schedule and is looking for someone who can be the steady, nurturing anchor of the girls' weekday routine — from morning lunch prep and school drop-off through homework support, dinner, and bedtime wind-down before he arrives home.

This role follows a split-shift schedule designed around the girls' school day:

Because household tasks are handled in the morning while the girls are at school, your afternoons stay fully focused on the kids — not chores. And the generous 3.5-hour midday break is real, usable time to live your life, not an awkward gap.

Because Dad's work occasionally requires additional coverage, the ideal candidate will also have flexibility for on-call support approximately one weeknight every two weeks, and one weekend every 3–4 months. The great news: his schedule is set a full month in advance, so all on-call dates are known well ahead of time — no last-minute surprises. A typical month might include three weeknight on-call shifts and one weekend assignment, such as a Sunday beginning mid-afternoon, or a short Saturday shift followed by a full Sunday.

All compensation is processed through legal W-2 household payroll — 40 hours guaranteed every week at $27/hour ($1,080/week), with proper tax withholding, official pay stubs, Social Security and Medicare contributions, and verifiable income for mortgages, loans, and other financial applications.

Mornings (7:00–11:00 AM)

• Prepare lunches and help the girls get ready for school each morning
• Handle the 8:00 AM school drop-off
• Household support while the girls are at school: tidying the girls' spaces, the girls' laundry, and meal prep for dinner

Afternoons/Evenings (2:30–6:30 PM)

• Arrive in time for the 3:55 PM school pickup line
• Assist with homework and after-school routines
• Serve dinner and support the evening routine and bedtime wind-down until Dad returns home

Ongoing

• Provide occasional pre-scheduled evening and weekend on-call coverage (approximately one weeknight every two weeks and one weekend every 3–4 months, scheduled a month in advance)
• Communicate proactively with Dad regarding the girls' day, schedules, activities, and household needs

• Experienced with school-age children and confident running independent routines
• Comfortable with a split-shift schedule and lives within a reasonable commute of the family
• Flexible and reliable — comfortable with occasional on-call weeknight/weekend coverage, always scheduled a month ahead
• Takes initiative with child-related household tasks (lunches, tidying, laundry, meal prep) without needing direction
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation for school drop-off and pick-up
• Background-checked and professionally vetted; willing to complete comprehensive background and reference checks
• Warm, proactive, and highly communicative personality
• Minimum of 3 impeccable childcare references
