Job Description
The purpose of this classification is to perform clerical support functions for the Human Resources Department, with a focus on Recruitment Department with a primary focus on recruitment and staffing activities. This position supports the recruitment process by assisting with job postings, applicant tracking, interview coordination, onboarding documentation, offer letters, recruiting reports, maintaining recruitment records as well as offer assigned clerical duties. The Recruitment Clerk also responds to applicant inquiries and provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Maintains and updates recruiting spreadsheets to track applicants, interviews, hiring activity, vacancies and recruitment metrics.
- Prepares and distributes employment offer letters and conditional offer letters.
- Updates applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting database, and HRIS systems with candidate information.
- Responds to applicant inquiries regarding open positions, applications status and hiring timelines
- Creates and post job advertisements on company websites, job boards, social media platforms and other recruitment stores.
- Generates recruiting reports and provides hiring statics for leadership as requested.
- Provides backup support for recruiters.
- Operates office equipment and software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.
- Performs general clerical duties such as answering phones, scanning documents, and filing.
- Assists with the distribution of Recruitment-related communications.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists co-workers with clerical functions as necessary.
- Fills in for co-workers during temporary absences as needed.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree required; supplemented by at least six (6) months of experience in human resources, administrative support, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to follow instructions and procedures while exercising attention to detail.
Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to assess routine issues and determine when to escalate to higher-level staff.

Physical Ability: Tasks require light physical effort and may involve extended periods at a desk or workstation.
Sensory Requirements: Requires the ability to perceive, distinguish, and respond to a range of visual and auditory cues.
Environmental Factors: Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
