Job Summary
The Field Inspector performs advanced construction observation and materials inspection activities on a variety of infrastructure and commercial construction projects. This role independently verifies that construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, DOT, etc.).
The Field Inspector applies strong technical knowledge and field experience to interpret plans and specifications, identify potential issues, and communicate findings to project teams. This position operates with a high level of independence and serves as a key field resource to support project quality, coordination, and timely delivery.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $44.00 – $55.00 per hour based on skill set and experience. The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a field environment with frequent travel up to 100% at times including evenings and weekends. This position does require field work in outdoor conditions on construction sites with uneven ground and adverse weather conditions. This role routinely uses personal protective equipment (PPE), testing instruments and equipment, and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, tablets, and photocopiers.Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-100 pounds. The employee will occasionally push or pull equipment weighing up to 200 pounds. The employee is required to frequently work outside.
