Reimbursement & Contract Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Reimbursement & Contract Analyst based in the United States.

The Reimbursement & Contract Analyst will support critical commercial operations by managing contract workflows, reimbursement processes, and strategic partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem.
This role serves as a key connector between commercial, legal, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
You will help streamline contract development, maintain operational visibility, and support successful execution of agreements with healthcare partners.
The position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and contractual environments.

Accountabilities:

The Reimbursement & Contract Analyst will oversee contract administration activities, support commercial initiatives, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance throughout the agreement lifecycle. The role requires strong coordination skills, business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external teams.

  • Support the creation, review, tracking, and execution of commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate contract development activities with sales, operations, implementation, legal, and subject matter experts to ensure agreements reflect accurate scope, timelines, budgets, and requirements.
  • Review proposals, client agreements, and vendor documentation to identify contractual requirements and assess alignment with organizational policies.
  • Partner with legal teams by preparing agreement materials, organizing feedback cycles, and ensuring final documents are complete and ready for execution.
  • Maintain contract trackers, repositories, libraries, templates, and reporting tools to ensure accurate records and visibility into contract status.
  • Manage renewal processes and follow established contract procedures to support compliance and operational consistency.
  • Analyze reimbursement, pricing, and commercial contract information to support business decisions and improve processes.
  • Participate in commercial team meetings and contribute insights, recommendations, and operational support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced contract management practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in healthcare contracting, commercial operations, or patient access support, with strong organizational skills and the ability to interpret complex agreements and regulatory requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business administration, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience in patient access support, contract management, client management, or related healthcare commercial functions.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration principles, pricing and budgeting fundamentals, and commercial processes.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, or healthcare-related agreements preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of commercial contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, and applicable federal and state contracting policies preferred.
  • Proficiency with document management, contract management, and productivity tools such as Office 365 and Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex contractual documents.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Strong project coordination, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end workflows independently while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Experience improving processes, contributing to contract strategy, and fostering cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
