Job Description
Location: Remote/Hybrid if local to Maryland (MON & WED in the office)
Residency Requirement: Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years and be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD).

Job Overview:
Cogent People Inc. is seeking a Service Management Business Analyst to support a mission-critical large-scale system serving the Federal Government in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in business analysis, functional design, business process design, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
· Support service management activities across multiple release trains.
· Document business processes and functional requirements.
· Coordinate test planning and execution.
· Facilitate cross-team communication, including client stakeholders.
· Create and maintain tracking artifacts.
· Assist with test case review and execution.
Requirements:· 2+ years of experience in business and functional analysis.
· 2+ years of experience in functional design and business process design.
· Experience working with QA teams, supporting test planning and execution.
· Experience operating in a SAFe Agile environment, across multiple teams and release trains.
· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and accurate work.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
· Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in federal government programs, or regulated environments (CMS experience is preferred).
· Experience in client-facing position is highly desired.
