Challenging Projects:

As a SharePoint & Power Platform Analyst with JCTM, you will provide technical, program management, and digital communications support to the U.S. Coast Guard Civil Rights Directorate. You will help modernize and sustain SharePoint sites, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, data collection tools, dashboards, and other web-based platforms while coordinating requirements, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring solutions are organized, accessible, and sustainable.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously, including SharePoint modernization, Power BI and Power Platform applications, workflow improvements, communications products, website content, project tracking, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, enhance, and transition to sustainment modernized SharePoint sites, portal sites, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and related web-based platforms.
  • Manage and configure SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, permissions, document libraries, lists, page content, navigation, and content organization.
  • Evaluate existing SharePoint and digital platforms, gather stakeholder requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of approved recommendations.
  • Support Microsoft Power BI dashboards and Power Platform applications used for data collection, reporting, visualization, workflow automation, and decision support.
  • Identify and resolve SharePoint functionality, access, content-management, and performance issues and provide ongoing user support.
  • Coordinate requirements and activities across multiple projects while applying initiative and project management principles.
  • Manage complex assignments within established schedules and resource constraints and coordinate stakeholders necessary for successful task completion.
  • Review work products for completeness, quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer requirements.
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis of technical information and translate findings into recommendations and usable solutions.
  • Read and interpret Government policies, regulations, procedures, and directives and apply those requirements to assigned activities.
  • Develop walkthroughs, user guides, standard operating procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials that enable Government personnel to sustain implemented solutions.
  • Create and incorporate graphics and visual communications using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, based on program-office requirements.
  • Support digital and traditional communications products including webpages, articles, newsletters, emails, flyers, graphics, infographics, and other organizational communications.
  • Support website content management and presentation across internal and external platforms.
  • Track requirements, deliverables, actions, and milestones through completion and maintain awareness of real-time project status.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, stakeholder communications, and other program-support activities.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical personnel, program stakeholders, subject matter experts, and senior Government personnel.
  • Help ensure applicable communications and digital deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of specialized and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience providing guidance and direction while applying project or initiative management principles.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to manage projects of high complexity within established timeframes and resource constraints.
  • Experience administering, developing, configuring, or supporting Microsoft SharePoint environments.
  • Experience managing permissions, site content, document libraries, lists, navigation, and related SharePoint functionality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot user-access, site-functionality, and content-management issues.
  • Experience developing or supporting modern web-based collaboration or business-process solutions.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, regulations, procedures, and directives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication with senior personnel.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator to create or modify graphics.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to monitor multiple requirements through completion.
  • Experience coordinating calendars, meetings, communications, and competing priorities.

Location: This position will primarily support work at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Telework may be authorized subject to Government approval.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience supporting a federal Government, DHS, or U.S. Coast Guard customer.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or related Power Platform technologies.
  • Experience developing SharePoint Lists and integrating SharePoint data with Power BI or other Microsoft applications.
  • Familiarity with DataBricks or enterprise data-integration platforms.
  • Experience with website content management, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, or AFPIMS.
  • Experience creating Section 508-compliant digital content.
  • Experience developing user guides, walkthroughs, SOPs, or other technical documentation.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to Government background/CAC processing for access to sensitive Government systems and information.
