This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Backend Developer & Automation Specialist based in Brazil.

This role is focused on building and optimizing backend systems, automation workflows, and API-driven integrations within a fast-paced IT services environment. You will design and develop backend services using Go or Python, supporting scalable systems that connect internal platforms with external vendor APIs. The position places strong emphasis on automation, including workflow orchestration, data processing, and system integrations across multiple tools and services. You will also contribute to AI-powered initiatives such as LLM-based agents, document processing, and intelligent automation use cases. The environment is highly technical and collaborative, requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to system design. • Develop and maintain backend services using Go or Python, ensuring scalable and reliable system performance.
• Build and optimize automation workflows using tools such as n8n, including scripting with JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
• Design and implement API integrations (REST, JSON/XML, webhooks, OAuth) between internal systems and third-party services.
• Process and transform data from multiple sources such as emails, APIs, webhooks, and external systems.
• Contribute to AI/LLM-based solutions including chat agents, prompt workflows, and document processing systems.
• Document system architecture, data flows, integration logic, and technical specifications.
• Monitor and improve automated processes such as vendor updates, ERP synchronization, and operational workflows.
• Support backend data operations such as inventory updates and system synchronization across platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable integrations.

• Strong proficiency in Go or Python for backend development.
• Hands-on experience building automation workflows using n8n or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and structured data formats (JSON/XML).
• Experience with SQL and basic frontend knowledge (e.g., Bootstrap HTML) is a plus.
• Strong Git/GitHub workflow experience.
• Ability to design and document system architecture and integration flows clearly.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts, including RAG pipelines and vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate) is a plus.
• Exposure to platforms such as Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service tools is desirable.
• Experience in MSP/ITSM environments is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
