Job Summary
- Seeking a Cryptologic Cyber Planner to support the planning and coordination of cyber operations in collaboration with U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) elements and mission partners
- This role focuses on integrating cyber capabilities into operational planning, ensuring alignment with applicable policies, doctrine, and mission objectives
- The ideal candidate brings experience in cyber operations planning, understands the operational environment, and can effectively translate mission requirements into executable plans
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the development and coordination of cyber operations plans in alignment with USCYBERCOM priorities and mission objectives
- Collaborate with Cyber Command elements and mission partners to integrate cyber capabilities into operational planning efforts
- Apply knowledge of cyber policy, doctrine, and authorities to ensure compliant and effective planning
- Participate in planning activities, including mission analysis, course of action (COA) development, and operational synchronization
- Translate operational requirements into technical and cyber planning inputs
- Support coordination across IC, DoD, and interagency stakeholders to ensure unified planning efforts
- Contribute to the development of planning documentation, briefings, and operational products
- Assess risks and dependencies associated with cyber operations and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Maintain awareness of evolving cyber threats, capabilities, and operational frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Master’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Experience working with U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) elements or supporting cyber operations
- Understanding of cyber policy, doctrine, and operational authorities
- Completion of IC Planner’s Course or equivalent operational planning training
- Knowledge of cyber operations planning processes and frameworks
- Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting joint or interagency planning environments
- Familiarity with operational planning tools and methodologies (e.g., JOPP)
- Experience within Intelligence Community (IC) or DoD cyber missions
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
115,000 - 165,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
