Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Distribution Center to oversee all distribution operations, ensuring efficient product flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time fulfillment to retail locations and direct-to-consumer customers. This role will lead large teams, drive performance, and implement process improvements to support growth and operational excellence.

As a Director of Distribution Center, You Will:

• Oversee all day-to-day distribution center operations including inbound, outbound, and fulfillment
• Lead and manage teams including supervisors, associates, and leadership staff across multiple shifts
• Drive productivity, service levels, and operational efficiency across the facility
• Develop staffing plans, labor forecasts, and headcount strategies to meet business demands
• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts and process controls
• Manage budgets, expenses, and cost-saving initiatives across operations
• Implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies
• Optimize use of supply chain systems including WMS, ERP, and TMS
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
• Lead training, development, and succession planning for team members
• Partner with HR to recruit, hire, and develop leadership talent
• Support new store openings and evolving business needs through operational strategies
• Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams and leadership

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or supply chain operations
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams and multi-department operations
• Experience in high-volume distribution centers (150+ employees preferred)
• Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP, and supply chain systems
• Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfillment and retail distribution
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
