Job Title: Production Associate - 2nd Ops

Job Department: Manufacturing

Job Overview: Production Associate - 2nd Ops is responsible for scanning incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipment records, and tracking deliveries using Excel spreadsheets and internal systems. This role ensures timely shipment processing, accurate documentation, and clear communication with internal teams regarding shipment status.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Scan and process incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Track shipment status and update delivery information in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including quantities, tracking numbers, and delivery dates.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal departments to resolve shipment issues or delays.
  • Prepare shipment documentation and labels as required.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
  • Perform data entry and maintain organized shipment logs.
  • Support inventory or warehouse teams with shipment-related tasks when needed

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic tracking spreadsheets).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple shipments and maintain accurate records.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with shipping software or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and shipment tracking tools.
