The mission of the Digital Merchandiser at Cozey
As Digital Merchandiser reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, your mission is to shape how Cozey's products are presented and discovered online, ensuring every customer who visits our storefronts finds the right product, understands its value, and feels confident buying it. You own the merchandising layer of the ecommerce experience: how products are positioned and how content drives conversion.
What you'll be doing
- Own the merchandising strategy across all storefronts including product and content placement, search and across Cozey's Canada, US and Australia storefronts.
- Collaborate with creative and UX teams to develop and maintain product education content that helps customers understand Cozey's highly modular and configurable product offering.
- Identify content gaps where customer questions or returns indicate the site isn't answering user needs. Brief and deliver content and features such as comparison tools and buying guides to support informed and confident decision making.
- Own the on-site recommendations strategy, including product pairings, complete-the-look experiences, and cross-sell placements.
- Build and leverage AI workflows to automate repetitive tasks, make smarter merchandising decisions, and continuously improve the customer experience.
- Own Cozey's on-site UGC experience by curating, organising, and publishing customer photos and reviews across product pages. Partner with social and brand teams to source high-quality content.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
- 2–4 years of experience in digital merchandising, ecommerce content, or a similar role. Experience in fashion or luxury ecommerce is a plus.
- A keen eye for product presentation and a deep intuition built from being an avid online shopper. When something looks or feels off, you notice and know how to make it better.
- Experience with CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful, or similar) and ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred).
- Comfort using analytics data to inform merchandising decisions on funnel health and product placement.
- Curious about and comfortable creating AI workflows to automate tasks to improve the customer experience and identify opportunities.
- Strong project management skills and manage multiple launches and content updates simultaneously.
- Collaborative by nature - you work well with creative, technical, and operational teams and communicate clearly across all of them.
- Familiarity with UGC tools and workflows is a plus.
