Responsibilities
The New Business Professional III processes life applications ensuring each case is effectively managed to minimize turnaround time and maximize customer satisfaction. Tasks may include reviewing confidential, sensitive, documents for completion and accuracy; ordering medical records and moving the case to completion. This role may also process policy changes and reinstatements. Working knowledge of Direct Mail and Agent Sold processing and ability to assist as needed.
Position Responsibilities
Process complex life insurance applications ensuring each case is effectively managed to minimize turn-around time and maximize customer satisfaction.
Generates reports, correspondence and form letters for additional information, document files and follows up according to established procedures.
Reviews and processes new applications for life insurance and annuity products ensuring applications meet technical, legal and underwriting guidelines.
Refers or consults with other Senior New Business Professional, managements, or other AAA Life personnel as appropriate on more complex applications.
Handles customer inquiries which will include agents and members.
Participates in UAT for IT Project teams.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Follows appropriate procedures to approve and process reinstatement applications, conversions, and policy coverage changes within guidelines.
Qualifications
- 3 – 4 years’ experience in process oriented customer service role
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Completion of Agent Sold and Direct Mail product training courses
- Completion of LOMA 281 and 291
- Strong Computer and Data Entry skills
- Proficient with MS Office software
- Experienced with internet based systems
