This role is an opportunity to work within a highly complex and impactful environment, supporting the quality assurance of critical systems in a large-scale organization with national relevance. You will be part of a specialized testing team responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of applications that support essential services. The position involves working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to production validation, with strong interaction with technical and business teams. You will contribute directly to improving software quality through structured testing strategies, automation, and continuous validation. This is a highly collaborative and technical role, ideal for professionals passionate about quality engineering and process improvement in mission-critical systems. The position is 100% remote and offers exposure to modern QA practices and tools in a regulated and demanding environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and supporting test artifacts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, acceptance, non-functional, performance, and exploratory tests.
- Support and validate deliveries throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design to release.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, mocks, stubs, and test data environments.
- Manage and ensure availability of test environments, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
- Monitor test coverage and quality metrics, proposing improvements to increase effectiveness and reliability.
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring traceability between requirements, code, and test cases.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Perform security and performance testing, identifying vulnerabilities and non-functional issues.
- Solid experience in QA, test planning, execution, and documentation in complex software environments.
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing types (performance, security, regression, integration, etc.).
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including script development and execution.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices such as ATDD, BDD, or Specification by Example.
- Experience with test environments, test data management, and defect tracking tools.
- Ability to work with development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in cross-functional environments.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with OWASP principles and application security testing.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and basic programming concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- One of the following certifications (or equivalent) is required: CTFL, CTFL-AT, CBTS, ATC, or similar.
