Job Title: Document Control Admin
Department: Quality / Document Control
Reports To: Document Control Manager
Location: Unigen Newark
Position Summary: The Document Control Administrator is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and controlling company documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility. This role supports engineering, quality, manufacturing, program management and other departments by managing document revisions, releases, archival, and distribution in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Related Tasks
- Maintain and administer the company's document control system.
- Process document creation, revisions, approvals, and releases.
- Ensure controlled documents are current, accurate, and properly distributed.
- Coordinate Change Orders (ECNs, MCNs) and document updates.
- Support in maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, procedures, and forms.
- Support ISO, customer, and regulatory audits by providing controlled documentation.
- Ensure compliance with document control procedures and quality standards.
- Assist departments with document retrieval, Bill Of Material and version control.
- Other duties and responsibilities related to Document Control as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of document control or administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with document management systems (DMS), ERP, or PLM software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with cross functional teams
