American Public Works Association (APWA) serves professionals in all aspects of public works by providing innovative education and credentialing opportunities for professional development. As the primary point of contact for the association’s certificate programs and workshops, the Education Specialist will work with many stakeholders to develop and deliver programs to members.

About the Education Specialist Role:
The Education Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for the association’s certificate programs and workshops. They work with Subject Matter Experts to develop, design, update, and deliver engaging educational programs.
The ideal candidate will have exemplary customer services skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, well versed in and able to efficiently use various technology, and be comfortable in a fast-paced setting working with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Associate’s degree required
- 3 years of experience in continuing adult education
- Customer/member service oriented
- Excellent technology and communication skills
- Comfortable writing and presenting
- Association experience a plus
