Store Clerk in Hauppauge, New York at NORTHEAST AERO COMPRESSOR CORP

Northeast Aero Compressor Corp. is hiring a stock clerk. This position will be reporting to the Stores Manager; The Stock Room Clerk is responsible for picking and gathering the required parts to support the assembly of products. General day consists of, pull and picking orders, properly allocating to respective WO, properly putting away and locating stock items, assisting techs in obtaining shop items such as rags, chemicals, cleaners any tool to help them with the jobs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize the inventory on the shelves and pull the appropriate parts for required work orders.
• Receive Purchase/Repair orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Manually count to check inventory.
• Document Work Orders, Pick Tickets.
• Issue/Track Tooling and Consumables.
• Update all parts tracking in computer using our Inventory Control Program (Quantum Control).
• Work with quality personnel and identify non-conforming parts.
• Research and track missing parts, update parts information and locations.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
• Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
• Properly document production work orders and work-in-process.
• Sign-off on Traveler’s.
• Assist other staff in inventory tracking.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by lead workers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma. In the absence of an HS diploma or GED, 1 years of relevant experience is required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Hourly position commensurate with experience (Salary $18-$20 Full-Time.)
