About the Role:

As an Inventory Controller at Cadogan Tate in New York, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the accurate tracking and control of inventory within our transportation and warehousing operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all inventory records are precise, up-to-date, SOPs meeting standards. You will collaborate closely with warehouse and trucking team, client service teams, and management to optimize inventory flow, reduce discrepancies, and support efficient supply chain processes. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues, conducting regular audits, and implementing improvements to inventory management systems. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in inventory control, preferably within the transportation or warehousing industry.
• Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Knowledge of transportation and warehousing industry regulations and best practices.
