Job Description Payrate: $17 - $18ph

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Rothco is seeking a motivated experience shipping clerk. The Warehouse shipping Clerk will process orders on the ERP shipment system, and have working knowledge of UPS World Ship, and FEDEX Management Systems.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that customers ship requirement are followed (ie ups, FedEx)

• Verifies orders to make sure that they are shipped correctly in the system to ensure the order gets invoiced correct

• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.

• Handles phone call or emails related to shipments. Notifies supervisor of any shipping issues.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Certified for use of the pallet jack

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

SKILLS

• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Excellent time management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.

• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (OT as needed)
