Strategic Account Executive, Health Systems

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Executive, Health Systems based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to drive the adoption of innovative healthcare technology within leading health systems across the country.
You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships that improve patient outcomes while helping organizations succeed in value-based care models.
As a key commercial leader, you will own complex enterprise sales cycles and engage clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
You will help shape the go-to-market strategy for a growing healthcare technology solution focused on mobility, recovery, and post-acute care optimization.
The position combines strategic selling, healthcare expertise, and entrepreneurial execution in a high-growth environment.
You will collaborate with clinical, product, marketing, and business teams to demonstrate measurable value for healthcare organizations.

Accountabilities:

As Strategic Account Executive, Health Systems, you will lead the expansion of strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, owning the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution. You will build a strong pipeline, develop trusted relationships with decision-makers, and demonstrate the clinical and financial value of technology-driven mobility insights.

  • Build and manage a high-impact pipeline of strategic opportunities across health systems of varying sizes, including regional networks, large hospital systems, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand health system priorities and align solutions with value-based care objectives, including reducing readmissions, improving recovery outcomes, and optimizing episode costs.
  • Own the complete sales process, from initial engagement and clinical validation through negotiation and final contract execution.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including orthopedic leaders, service line executives, population health teams, bundled payment program leaders, and financial decision-makers.
  • Communicate the value of objective mobility data as a clinical and financial tool supporting post-surgical recovery, fall prevention, and care optimization.
  • Manage opportunities with strong pipeline discipline, ensuring clear next steps, ownership, and progression toward implementation.
  • Drive consistent engagement with health system prospects through strategic outreach, discovery meetings, and executive-level conversations.
  • Partner closely with commercial, clinical, marketing, product, customer success, and medical teams to refine messaging and strengthen customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build ROI models and business cases demonstrating measurable impact for healthcare partners.
  • Support the evolution of the commercial strategy and repeatable sales processes as the healthcare market expands.
  • Travel up to 30–40% for customer meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration sessions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional with deep healthcare industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments. You should be comfortable operating strategically while maintaining a strong focus on execution and measurable business results.

  • 5–8 years of high-growth commercial experience selling into health systems, including regional, national, or integrated delivery network environments.
  • Proven success managing enterprise healthcare sales cycles involving clinical, operational, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in B2B enterprise or healthcare technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care models and CMS alternative payment programs, including bundled payment and episode-based care frameworks.
  • Experience engaging service line leaders, population health teams, and financial stakeholders responsible for healthcare outcomes and economics.
  • Strong pipeline management skills with a disciplined approach to opportunity qualification and deal progression.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex healthcare technology solutions and their clinical and financial benefits.
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows, post-acute care pathways, orthopedic programs, or digital health solutions is highly valuable.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in an evolving market and help build scalable commercial processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
