As we continue to grow, we're expanding our Talent Acquisition team and are looking for a Recruitment Screener to help identify qualified candidates and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Position SummaryThe Recruitment Screener is responsible for conducting initial candidate phone screenings for a variety of positions across the organization. This role evaluates candidates against established hiring criteria, documents interview findings, and coordinates interviews with Talent Managers and hiring managers.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys speaking with people, can manage a high volume of phone interviews, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities- Review resumes and applications to determine whether candidates meet minimum job qualifications.
- Conduct structured phone screenings using standardized interview guides.
- Evaluate candidates' qualifications, work history, communication skills, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
- Verify required licenses, certifications, driving eligibility, and other position-specific requirements.
- Accurately document interview notes and hiring recommendations in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Schedule interviews between qualified candidates and Talent Managers or hiring managers.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the screening process.
- Update candidate dispositions and hiring statuses in the ATS.
- Support hiring events and other Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed.
- Deliver a professional, positive candidate experience that reflects the Master Trades Group brand.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all employment laws and company policies.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and response-time expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting support, recruiting coordination, customer service, inside sales, call center, human resources, or another high-volume customer-facing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to conduct a high volume of phone screenings while maintaining professionalism and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Previous recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience supporting skilled trades, field service, or multi-location organizations.
- Conducts timely, consistent, and effective candidate phone screenings.
- Accurately identifies qualified candidates for advancement.
- Maintains thorough and accurate ATS documentation.
- Delivers an exceptional candidate experience.
- Meets productivity goals while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Builds strong partnerships with Talent Managers and hiring managers.

Full-time, different shifts available (7 AM to 7 PM with rotating Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM). Must be available to work 1 Saturday a month.
