Children’s Therapy Center is seeking an ESIT Referral Coordinator to join our Early Supports Team in Kent. Our ESIT Referral Coordinator will work with the teams and referral sources to help families access Early Support Services. CTC’s goal is to help children achieve their full potential while helping parents and caregivers develop the confidence and competence, they need to support their child.
Requirements:Primary Responsibilities
- Support ESIT referral and intake processes to ensure ESIT program efficiency and compliance
- Provide families with clear, accessible explanations of the ESIT program including its model, services, and what to expect throughout the eligibility determination process
- Establish and maintain accurate files and records within CTC and ESIT electronic systems (e.g., EMR, ESIT DMS, referral tracking tools)
- Schedule and complete intake meetings with referred families and caregivers
- Collaborating with King & Pierce County and community referral sources
- Coordinate with ESIT leadership and FRCs to support FRC and evaluation assignment
- Attend and participate in CTC & ESIT meetings as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of AA degree in field related to social services or early child development, or relevant education and/or experience in case management, social work/social welfare, family studies, infant mental health, early childhood development, and/or special education
- Knowledge of child development, medical terminology, and early intervention service systems
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple professional disciplines
- Passionate about joining a professional team working to serve the needs of children and their families.
- Must have or obtain and maintain a DCYF FRC Credential.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using various oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal skills.
- Effective listening skills, including the ability to recognize, comprehend and appreciate various perspectives and diverse points of view.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to organize work to meet various commitments and responsibilities.
- Ability to anticipate potential challenges and adjust to changes as needed.
- Collaborative and participatory; serves as an active member of the team, inviting diverse perspectives to support organizational priorities and common goals.
- Demonstrated ability to include, value, respect, and engage perspectives that cross cultural backgrounds, lived experiences, and diverse points of view.
- Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to complete duties factoring appropriate or relevant details, considerations, and input from all individuals impacted.
- Consciously and intentionally operates with self-awareness; consistently seeking opportunities to learn and grow in proactive and respectful ways.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities; including those with feeding and sensory processing challenges.
- Strong word processing and proficient with MS Word and Outlook.
- Bilingual, English-and Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
Schedule:
This position is available full time 40 hour per week. This position is hybrid, with in-person expectations (including weekly team meetings and essential ESIT meetings) as assigned by direct supervisor.
Compensation & Benefits:
Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $23.53-$36.06 per hour.
