This role is centered on leading high-impact fundraising campaigns that directly contribute to life-saving research and patient support initiatives.
You will be responsible for driving the success of one of the most visible peer-to-peer fundraising programs in the country, building strong relationships with corporate leaders, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
The position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on external engagement, with significant time spent cultivating partnerships and expanding donor networks.
You will oversee revenue growth for your market while ensuring an exceptional experience for participants, partners, and volunteers.

- Lead the planning and execution of high-performing fundraising campaigns, ensuring strong revenue growth and long-term sustainability.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire Executive Leadership Committees to maximize engagement and fundraising outcomes.
- Build and expand corporate and community partnerships through proactive outreach and relationship management.
- Oversee volunteer and staff teams, ensuring alignment, motivation, and strong performance toward campaign goals.
- Spend significant time in external-facing activities, engaging executives, donors, and stakeholders to strengthen the fundraising pipeline.
- Ensure exceptional participant and partner experiences throughout all phases of the campaign.
- Collaborate with national leadership to align local strategies with broader organizational fundraising objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in fundraising, business development, or related fields.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or senior fundraising leadership within nonprofit or service environments.
- Proven track record of success in fundraising, corporate partnerships, major giving, or peer-to-peer campaign management.
- Strong experience in team leadership, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-level relationships with executives, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
- Strong planning, financial management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience managing large-scale events or campaigns is highly desirable.
