Position Summary

The Agency Services Business Partner serves as the primary relationship manager and operational liaison for a portfolio of agency partners and independent agents. This role combines account management, contracting support, commission administration, and partner services to deliver an exceptional experience for Carepoint's downline agencies.

As a trusted business partner, you will work closely with Sales, Contracting, Commissions, and Carrier Relations teams to ensure agency partners receive timely support, accurate information, and proactive solutions that help them grow their business.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAgency Partner Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned agencies and agents.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency owners, managers, and producers.

  • Conduct regular outreach to ensure partner satisfaction and engagement.

  • Assist agency partners with onboarding, growth initiatives, and operational support.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to support retention and expansion efforts.

Contracting & Licensing Support
  • Assist agents and agencies with carrier contracting and appointment processes.

  • Monitor contracting status and proactively communicate updates.

  • Coordinate with internal contracting teams and carrier partners to resolve issues.

  • Support onboarding of new agencies and agents into Carepoint systems and processes.

Commissions & Override Support
  • Respond to commission, override, and compensation inquiries from agency partners.

  • Research and resolve commission discrepancies and payment questions.

  • Work closely with Finance and Commissions teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Educate partners on compensation structures, commission schedules, and payment processes.

Operational Support
  • Troubleshoot agent and agency issues related to carrier systems, enrollment platforms, and internal processes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional solutions with Sales, Contracting, Marketing, and Operations teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and service requests.

  • Track and report recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement.

Account Growth & Retention
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen agency engagement and production.

  • Support agency retention efforts through proactive service and relationship management.

  • Assist with agency training initiatives, webinars, meetings, and events.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to ensure agencies receive appropriate support and resources.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, agency support, insurance operations, contracting, commissions, or customer success.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Preferred
  • Experience within Medicare, ACA, Health Insurance, or Insurance Distribution.

  • Familiarity with insurance contracting, licensing, appointments, and commission structures.

  • Experience supporting agents, agencies, brokers, or distribution partners.

  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
