Speech Therapist in Ash Grove, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team of professionals at the Ash Grove Family Medical Center in Ash Grove, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

• Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

What Your Day Looks Like: In this role, you will work with residents to provide therapies aimed at improving cognitive, speech, and language deficits.

As a Speech Therapist, you will be:

• Establishing an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
• Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and others
• Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
• Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
• Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. ***Willing to consider someone who is in their CFY period for this position!***

• Experience:1 year of experience preferred

• Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License

• Skills: Problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbal communication, basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and listening skills

• Physical Requirements: Stamina to sit for prolonged periods, walk and move frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs.
