Medical Assistant at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant for our Clinic Float Pool

Staff will be trained as a multifunctional medical assistant or nurse.

A typical day will include: Assisting patients to exam room, practicing nursing skills under a provider, coordinates patient care, manages quality controls, maintains inventory, files and completes forms appropriately, triage. Receives and handles patients’ medical related telephone calls, relaying information to patients/ others as directed by provider, documenting in the medical record information relayed. Supports front office when needed, assists in lab and x-ray duties, and completes scribe duties as requested. Immunization schedule management, assures previous medical information relating to visit is present at time of appointment. Understands and complies with policies and procedures related to medical legal matters, including confidentiality, amendment of medical records, release of information, medical records as legal evidence, informed consent, etc., appropriate to the age of the patient served. This role will be filling the scheduling needs of our Rural Healthcare Clinics (RHC) and/or Specialty clinics as staffing needs arise.
