Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses who are dedicated to providing thoughtful, respectful care to patients and their families. In this role, you’ll work closely with Registered Nurses and the healthcare team to deliver direct and indirect patient care in a supportive Medical Surgical environment. You’ll help monitor patients, assist with treatments and daily care needs, communicate clearly with patients and families, and contribute to a collaborative care experience that prioritizes safety, dignity, and compassion.

Patient Care & Treatment

Offer holistic and patient-centered nursing care, focusing on the unique needs of individuals and their families with a positive and respectful approach that aligns with the hospital's values. Emphasize support, clear education, and collaborative decision-making to foster a positive care experience.

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients while contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license to practice in California

• One year acute care experience preferred

• Satisfactory completion of IV Therapy course and state certification required within one year of employment; must be able to clinically practice skills learned in class

• BLS certification required and maintained thereafter

• Must successfully complete Telemetry Competency test within 3 months of employment and maintain yearly thereafter

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

• Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers
