Job Summary
The Production Supervisor leads a team of production operators. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production while fostering a positive team environment. We are looking for a strong leader who can drive performance, develop team members, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of production staff.
- Assign daily tasks and oversee training and development.
- Hold team members accountable to ATTC’s quality and production standards.
- Maintain a balanced focus on quality, productivity, safety, cost, and morale.
- Track and report performance measures using visual controls and regular updates to management.
- Achieve production goals and identify opportunities for improvement in processes and equipment.
- Perform and document accident investigations.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and manage timekeeping/attendance.
- Understand all steps in the production process to effectively train team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with a hands-on approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Excel and basic computer systems.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, train, and develop staff,
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with quality management processes.
Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced manufacturing and assembly environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
