Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
-
Completes Registrations via phone or in person, gathering all appropriate Demographics, Financial, Clinical and other information required, determine proper insurance coverage, complete verification of coverages through appropriate means. Collect co-pays, deductibles and deposits as required. Balancing cash drawers. Key data received into the EPIC system. Work Queues as assigned. Performing a variety of other Registration functions as necessary.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:
-
High school diploma with one year of experience in providing services to the public, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Must be proficient in the use of keyboard and basic computer applications.

Preferred:
-
Above plus college level coursework in related field, Bi-Lingual with strong Spanish comprehension and verbal skills, advanced computing skills.
