Location: Moser’s Grocery Store – Ashland, MO

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support front-end store operations, including self-checkout and sales floor productivity
  • Assist customers with purchases, returns, exchanges, and general inquiries
  • Ensure operational excellence in cash handling and front-end procedures
  • Monitor and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Train, mentor, and motivate front-end team members to achieve performance goals
  • Promote store loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment
  • Collaborate with store leadership to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Support daily store operations and perform additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous customer service, retail, front-end, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with cash handling, customer service operations, and productivity management
  • Friendly, engaging, and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed)

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced grocery store front-end environment
  • Frequent interaction with customers, team members, and store leadership
  • Combination of standing, walking, and computer-based work throughout the day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
