Experienced Banquet Bartender at ELGIN COUNTRY CLUB – Elgin, Illinois

We are a private country club, specializing in hosting elegant banquets, weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Position Summary:
As a Banquet Bartender, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy top-quality drinks and service during events. You’ll work closely with our event staff to create an enjoyable atmosphere while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests, ensuring that all their drink requests are met.
• Monitor guest consumption to ensure a responsible and safe drinking environment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after events.
• Collaborate with the event manager and servers to ensure the smooth operation of the event.
• Handle cash and card transactions as needed, ensuring accurate payment processing.
• Adhere to all local alcohol service laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending and food service experience is preferred, particularly in banquet or event settings.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail mixing, and bar equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• TIPS, ServSafe, or other alcohol service certifications are a plus.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
